April 4, 2010

I was privileged to go with Jessica on a Challenge Team to Haiti. While I didn't know what to expect going to a country torn by a huge earthquake, Jessica ensured me I'd be assigned a job that only a monkey could do.

My, Mo, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

From the airport to the place we were staying:

Turns out my "special" job was to watch the team's bags at the hotel. I'm just glad that I was able to be of help while Jessica was busy with Kid's programs everyday. The team was able to share the love of Jesus with over 500 kids while she was there!
This is the hotel, where we stayed:

Some of the damage we saw on a daily basis:

Well, I don't have anyone to blame but myself for the lack of blogging. I can't even blame Jessica because she's been "on my back" for a month now to post my Haiti pictures. Coming next... Pictures of my mission trip to Haiti, where I was able to see the devastation of their earthquake.

December 2009 - January 2010

Looks like Jessica's back to her old ways of ignoring my blog Here's what I've been up to this winter!
I got to decorate the Christmas Tree this year. Thank you to everyone who sent us presents. Jessica recieved her's and reassured me that mine were just lost in the mail. Maybe they will get here by May?!

In January I had to say good-by to some special friends. It's not every monkey that gets to meet people from all over the world.

I spent two years living with Mel! She says I can ride in a kangaroo pouch when I visit her in Australia! I can't wait, mate!

My Indians brothers, BK & Lenin. BK says that in his home they eat bananas for dessert. I'm going to like India!
