Jessica returned from San Diego and then she took me out... Off The Ship! (Let's see how long that last.) She took me to the botanical gardens in Guyana and I got to touch a manatee!!! It kinda felt like a soggy banana peel.

My friend Wing, from Hong Kong, went with me too. She wore a t-shirt with me on it! I am loved.

I must of been sleepwalking, because Mel woke up to find me guarding the door with a (banana) gun.

While, the cats away, the monkey will play! I love hanging out with Mel. Not only does she plays hide 'n seek with me; she found me hiding in Jessica's wardrobe. but...

She also brought me some KFC!!! I wouldn't mind if Jessica went on furlough more often.

I helped Jessica pack her bags as she headed home for 6 weeks. Woo hoo!! I get the cabin all to myself! Well, Mel will be around, but she's barely here! Party Time.... (shhh, don't tell Jessica)

So many ports, so many people! Here's a recap of the ports I've visited so far:

This is the Logos Hope in Grenada. It was too windy to stay at the cruise ship terminal, so we got to dock at the harbor port! A lot closer to town and bananas.

My new friend Isak, he's from Sweden... we enjoyed the harbor together.

Jessica doesn't have a picture of me in Scarborough, Tobago. She keeps saying that she did take a picture of me, but I'm pretty sure she didn't. She was too busy working and visiting KFC to spend time with me.

Port Of Spain, Trinidad was a long port visit and we had 96,000 people visit the ship. I tried to visit the yellow building, called the Hyatt. They had really good smoothies and not 96,000 people visiting.

St. Lucia reminded me of the jungle, so many trees and spontaneous rain showers. I'm glad I live on a ship and not in a tree; you get less wet there.

This is my Finnish friend Juhana. There are NO monkeys in Finland, and he blames America, but I still like him. Juhana has been on the ship with me for two years and is leaving now to go back to the snow. I'm pretty sure he cried when he said good-bye to me; I'm his favorite monkey!

I was able to try a new job... selling tickets to the visitors! It was fun, I liked ripping the tickets. I'm pretty sure I will be asked to help more often. I set a record by passing out 2,000 tickets in 1 hour!!! I don't know why everyone was so concerned about getting the "EC". (It looked like play money to me!)

Lots of people came to the ship in St. Vincent... here I am in line with some of the visitors!

It took 22 months, but Jessica finally made good on her promise... one day I would visit a tropical island!

July 25, 2009

Can you believe they built a pool on deck 9! I've been bugging Jessica to let me swim. Of course, the one chance I get to sneak away and try it out... they had drained the water!

July 20, 2009

I was feeling a little bit better so I thought I would go and enjoy the view of ocean... in the middle of the Atlantic! I don't know how the dolphins and whales can be far from trees for so long?! 7 more days and I'll see land!

July 2009

We've been sailing for a few days now.. across the Atlantic Ocean. This has been my view. Monkeys were not made for the sea.

May -June 2009

Wow, time has flown by faster then I could climb a tree. Most of May and June were a blur. Some highligts for me were getting to visit N.Ireland and the UK. The ship was always busy with tour groups.
While Jessica was working most of the time, I was able to spend time with friends. For Jessica's birthday we made cookies. Ryan, from Washington, let me eat the dough!!

April 29, 2009

I went to the Faroe Islands and it was all beautiful; nature, fjords, and especially the people!
BUT, did Jessica get any pictures of me?? NO!! She was busy eating whale meat and making new friends! She gave me a coke as an apology... golly, thanks, I think?

April 19, 2009

I got to go sight-seeing in Edinburgh. The sun was out and Jessica wasn't embarrassed to be seen with me.
I visited some Japaneses Gardens and enjoyed the sunshine.

My Indian brother BK. He makes really good curry, and he likes bananas too!

This new berth is pretty awesome... not only are we docked next to a mall!! but we are also sharing the berth with the Queen's Yacht. I'm trying to stow away over there, because I've heard they have more bananas and bigger cabins!

March 9, 2009

Helping the deckies while they are on watch. They have to keep the ship safe at all hours, this means watching movies on laptops, playing computer games or playing with the engine guys and their security cameras. I had a lot of fun. I hope I get invited back!

Just keeping the captain's chair warm while we sail. What do you think... "Captain Monkey", it had a nice ring to it.

Feb 15, 2009

With only a few days left in Koge, I wanted to take advantage of a little sunlight. I was going to go ice skating, but realized I don't own any skates....

Then I saw a tree... and decided to do what monkeys do best, I climbed it! Another monkey named Liam (he is a Scottish monkey), joined me.

We make a pretty good climbing team, even if he doesn't have a tail!

Jan 30, 2009

I'm sick. I thought it might be bird flu, then I remembered I'm a monkey, so it must be monkey flu. I've been in bed all week taking lots of fluids and eating bananas; Mother Nature's cure-all.

There are so many stairs on this ship! I live on deck 2, and from my cabin to the dining room there are 50 stairs. I've suggested that vines and/or rope ladders would be easier to use.

Jan.18, 2009

Welcome to my cabin. I let Jessica and Mel stay with me. Notice, above my head, is a news article about monkeys in a wheelbarrow. Mel's mom sent that to us. I like post. You can send letters, pictures and bananas to the following address:

I'm starting a new year on the ship! I can't believe I've been living on a ship for 16 months!! It's unnatureal for a monkey to be away from trees for so long. But lucky for me I've made lots of new friends! This is my best friend, a bear from Australia! I don't know his name. We spend everyday together in the cabin, while Jessica and her rommmate Mel are busy with their own friends, ignoring us.
